Repeat

Repeat the same post every week, without rewriting it

Some posts really do come round on a rhythm: the Friday special, the Saturday market stall, the monthly class. Writing them again each time is busywork. Repeat in Vusely schedules the same post on a regular day in one go. There is no hidden loop running behind it: each repeat is an ordinary scheduled post that you can open, change or delete on its own.

In short

  • Choose Every week, Every 2 weeks or Every month, and 2 to 12 posts in all.
  • You get that many separate scheduled posts, each at the same time of day on your workspace's clock.
  • Your plan's limits apply to every post. The form tells you before you save if some won't fit.
  • Nothing to do in Instagram or Facebook: the posts go out like any other.

What you can do

  • Weekly, every two weeks or monthly

The first post goes out at the date and time you pick. The rest go out on their own days at that same time of day on your workspace's clock, so 5:00 PM stays 5:00 PM when the clocks change. A monthly post on the 31st goes out on the last day of the shorter months.

  • Each repeat is its own post

Saving makes that many ordinary scheduled posts with the same words, pictures and accounts. Open any of them on Posts to change the caption or the picture, or delete it. Changing one never touches the others.

  • Your plan and your rules still apply

Every post counts toward your plan's posts for the month it goes out in, and days past how far ahead your plan schedules are left out. A line under Repeat says how many before you save. If a limit is reached part-way, the posts that fit are scheduled and the page lists them and says why the rest weren't.

  • Weekly is the shortest on purpose

Repeat starts at once a week. The same words every day are easy for followers to scroll past, and a rhythm that suits your business is usually a better fit than a loop.

How it works

  1. 1

Write the post and choose Schedule

On New post, add your picture and caption, pick where it goes, and choose Schedule. Pick the date and time of the first post, or press Pick a good time to let Mia suggest one.

  2. 2

    Open Repeat

Under the date and time, open Repeat. Choose Every week, Every 2 weeks or Every month, then how many posts in all, from 2 to 12. A line shows the days it will go out, for example: Goes out on Fri, Oct 30, Nov 6, Nov 13 and Nov 20.

  3. 3

    Schedule these posts

Press Schedule these posts. The page lists every post made with its day and time, with a link to Posts. On Instagram, Facebook or Threads you do nothing more: they appear as normal posts when their time comes.

Keep a repeat from feeling copied

Repeat copies the caption word for word. For a weekly special, open the next post on Posts a day or two ahead and change the first line to this week's item, or swap in a fresh photo. A repeat that is the same every time is fine for a fixed fact, such as opening hours; it works less well for anything you want people to look at again.

Repeat is offered on New post only, not on Edit post. It isn't offered for a post to an account that asks you to choose settings on every post, and it isn't offered when your team's posts need the owner's OK, because those are sent for an OK one at a time. To stop a repeat, delete the posts that haven't gone out yet on Posts. Posts that already went out stay where they are. Details last checked in October 2026.

Questions, answered

Can I repeat a post every day?

Not with Repeat. The shortest rhythm is once a week. For daily posting, write or schedule separate posts, or let Mia plan your week.

How do I stop a repeat?

Delete the remaining scheduled posts on Posts. Each one is separate, so deleting one doesn't affect the rest, and posts that already went out stay up.

Do all the repeats count toward my plan's posts?

Yes. Each one counts for the month it goes out in, like any other post. The line under Repeat tells you if some won't fit before you save.
